Grooming Salon
Our goal is for your canine companion to receive the best haircut or ‘look' while being groomed in a relaxed  environment. We use aromatherapy so your dog will feel like he or she is at a doggie spa, not just a  grooming shop.  Our staff is highly experienced in handling dogs with behavior issues. The salon opens at 8:00. You can text to 336 953-7632, call 336 328-0077 or email thedogschool@northstate.net for your dog's salon appointment with our dog groomer, Melissa. We groom Tuesday through Saturday.

Dog training secrets

We believe that our dogs are limited only by our imagination, not by their innate abilities.

When you make the decision to add a dog to your life, you will never be alone, and you will always be deeply loved.  With these unconditional good feelings comes a great responsibility.  Whether this is your first dog or you have had many dogs throughout your life, the uncharted road ahead will be an incredible journey.
Raising a well-mannered dog who enjoys being in the company of humans and other dogs,
is not always as easy as it sounds.
When a puppy comes into your life, take note from the words of Dr. Ian Dunbar, “The clock is ticking.” You have your entire life together to spoil this precious life, but training needs to start the first day you meet.  The most important fact to stamp into your thinking pattern is that your dog is not a ‘furry little human.’ Raising your dog as if it were a human child will only hinder the learning
process.
Come to school and have some fun while learning the newest upbeat, positive training techniques to get your dog to 'want' to do what you want it to do.
